Genan rubber powder can be added to compounds used for the production of many different products. The Genan technology results in the production of very fine rubber powder – through ambient granulation as well as with cryogenic milling.
One of Genan’s special products is an elastomer bitumen and asphalt modifier called Road+. Road+ consists of both rubber powder and a special elastomer called Vestenamer® and is used for rubber modification of asphalt and bitumen for both road construction and roofing.
The various Genan rubber powders are listed below. Links for safety data sheets, technical data sheets, information on applications and sustainability are also available.
GENAN AMBIENT RUBBER POWDER
Genan rubber powder is produced through Genan’s traditional, ambient process technology, where tyre rubber is mechanically shredded and granulated. Genan offers two types of ambiently produced rubber powder – with different particle size distributions.
GENAN COARSE POWDER is a high-quality rubber powder with particle sizes between 0.2 and 0.8 mm.

We furthermore invite you to read up on suggested applications for this product – and to read more about the sustainability of Genan rubber products in general.
GENAN FINE POWDER can be delivered in Big Bags of approx. 1 tonne or 20 kg sacks.
GENAN CRYOGENIC RUBBER POWDER
With Genan’s cryogenic process technology, liquid nitrogen is used to freeze rubber granulate to a temperature so low that milling results in a fine rubber powder. This gives a particle surface much smoother than that achieved with ambient technology. Cryogenically milled powder is available in sizes smaller than 40 mesh (ASTM) or 425 microns.
