Quality standards

As life cycle assessment now has become a widespread tool for public decision makers to evaluate certain environmental choices, it has been necessary to develop a strict set of rules that all serious LCA studies must live up to.

In the "recycling versus incineration" study that is laid out here, all elements described as compulsory in the ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards are included.

This also means that the report has been peer reviewed by an independent team of researchers, and their comments and suggestions are a part of the full report.
