The German Federal Minster for the Environment visits Genan in Dorsten

August 15th Genan NRW will have the pleasure of welcoming the Bundesumweltminister Herr Peter Altmaier MdB (The German Federal Minister for the Environment) at Genan's plant in Dorsten.

The visit has been arranged in cooperation with the local trade council and will offer Genan the opportunity to discuss recycling of tyres vs. co-incineration with the Minister.

Thomas Harbo appointed CEO of Genan A/S, Michael Agerkilde appointed Director of Technology and Product Development in Genan Business & Development A/S.

As of 1st of May 2013, Thomas Harbo has been appointed CEO of Genan A/S with the responsibility for the Genan plant in Viborg as well as sales in the Nordic countries and the UK. Thomas Harbo will replace Michael Agerkilde, who since May 2011 has held the position as CEO of Genan A/S.

Thomas Pash appointed CEO for Genan Inc.

Before joining Genan as CFO in December 2012, Thomas Pash had more than 15 years of CEO/CFO experience.

Genan co-authors article published in ”European Journal of Business and Management”

A recently published article in ”European Journal of Business and Management” advocates the use of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) work in circular economy models (CEMs), e.g. carbon markets. CEMs are economical systems designed to minimize the industry’s impact on the biosphere as well as to ensure the optimal resource efficiency.
