Rubber powder can be added with up to a 30% content in special concrete compounds. A concrete wall which is enforced by rubber powder will last longer. The increased elasticity caused by the rubber leads to less cracks if compared to a normal concrete wall.

Furthermore, rubber has good insulation properties with respect to noise as well as heat insulation and this is considered as an extra advantage in the building industry.
